Manufacturing Leader- 1st Shift

About the position

The Manufacturing Leader role at Electrolux Group involves providing leadership and direction to a team in a manufacturing environment. The position focuses on continuous improvement, employee engagement, and achieving key performance indicators related to safety, quality, cost, and customer delivery. The leader will foster a positive work environment and support the development of team members through effective coaching and performance evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to an assigned team.
• Focus on daily continuous improvements and team processes.
• Deliver team key performance indicators and drive employee engagement and development.
• Own and develop Job Descriptions and Skills matrix.
• Create a positive work environment, fostering open communication and dialogue.
• Ensure effective performance evaluations and appropriate counseling measures.
• Support the Electrolux Management System and implement continuous improvement processes and cost savings.
• Lead line balancing, time studies, SMED, and problem solving.
• Ensure labor map adherence and support autonomous maintenance.
• Support environmental initiatives.

Requirements

• Industrial technology degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
• Experience in writing detailed reports and process improvement methodologies.
• Lead and participate in root cause analysis.
• Prior experience in Material Flow, Welding, Enamel Stamping, or Robotics is preferred.
• Experience in Microsoft Office and knowledge in ERP, Time and Attendance, and OEE systems.
