About the position
The Manufacturing Leadership Program (MLP) at Owens Corning is designed to prepare candidates for technical or engineering roles within manufacturing facilities while providing early leadership training. Participants will engage in a structured program lasting 24 to 30 months, involving rotations in technical, operations, and maintenance areas, ultimately leading to a full-time position as a Manufacturing Engineer or Technical Leader.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and analyze information to problem solve and optimize processes.
- Investigate to resolve bottlenecks in manufacturing.
- Enhance manufacturing processes, products, and cost efficiency using expertise.
- Work effectively with others to improve manufacturing processes.
- Develop people leadership and enhance communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant major.
- Previous relevant internships or co-ops in a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations.
- Willingness and flexibility to relocate.
