About the position

As a Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining a comprehensive library of customer-designed data center cooling equipment drawings. This role requires ensuring that regular drawing changes are implemented through the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process. You will collaborate closely with production teams to ensure that all physical copies of the drawings are updated to the latest revisions. Your ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment will be crucial as you take on challenges associated with product lines driven by data centers. In addition to managing drawings, you will collaborate with customer teams to evaluate new and revised specifications. This includes conducting the Comply, Deviate, Except (CDE) process and effectively communicating the results to key team members. You will also oversee the complete submittal package for the product, ensuring that all required documentation is delivered to site general contractors and customer groups for each deployment. Regular attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work on-site and overtime are expected, along with occasional travel, which is anticipated to be less than 20%. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be interacting with the public, customers, vendors, colleagues, managers, and executives.
