The Manufacturing Operations Analyst position supports the VP Manufacturing, Plant Managers, and Warehouse managers with setting and measuring KPIs, P&L management, vendor management, and developing strategies and processes to improve efficiency and cost. This role also involves the management of key initiatives and projects related to sustainability, supply chain management, manufacturing, and distribution. Additionally, the position will assist in the development of KPI dashboards and quarterly business reviews to present to internal and external business leaders. The job duties include managing and leading projects, creating project timelines, defining deliverables and metrics, managing project budgets, and overseeing vendor selection and purchasing of resources. The analyst will manage ongoing vendor relationships and activities, develop and update weekly, period, and quarterly KPI, OKR, OEE, and other reporting, and analyze reports to identify areas of opportunity. Building executive summaries for functional heads and executive leadership, facilitating executive review meetings, and communicating priorities are also key responsibilities. The analyst will develop and implement new processes related to manufacturing operations, document processes through SOP or work instruction/job aid management, and work to maximize efficiency and output while minimizing costs. Furthermore, the role involves partnering with functional managers to create baseline AOP budgets for manufacturing plants, forecasting and analyzing functional needs, and managing manufacturing-related sustainability initiatives. The analyst will also develop and maintain Plant/Manufacturing Quality scorecards, address opportunity areas, and develop recommendations for improvement, while working with PepsiCo and other peer bottlers and vendors to implement best practices to ensure excellent standards of quality for manufactured products.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the VP Manufacturing, Plant Managers, and Warehouse managers with setting and measuring KPIs and P&L management.
  • Manages and leads projects, creates project timelines, defines deliverables and metrics, and manages project budgets.
  • Oversees vendor selection and purchasing of resources, and manages ongoing vendor relationships and activities.
  • Develops and updates weekly, period, and quarterly KPI, OKR, OEE, and other reporting, and analyzes reports to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Builds executive summaries for functional heads and executive leadership, and facilitates executive review meetings.
  • Develops and implements new processes related to manufacturing operations, documenting processes through SOP or work instruction/job aid management.
  • Partners with functional managers to create baseline AOP budgets for manufacturing plants and forecasts functional needs.
  • Manages and leads manufacturing-related sustainability initiatives and develops new processes and procedures.
  • Develops and maintains Plant/Manufacturing Quality scorecards, addressing opportunity areas and developing recommendations for improvement.
  • Works with PepsiCo and other peer bottlers and vendors to implement best practices for quality assurance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration or Accounting preferred.
  • Associates Degree in Business Administration or Accounting plus two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in administration in a production or operations environment required.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook required.
  • Very strong proficiency in MS Excel required.
  • Experience with SAP (or other ERP) preferred.
  • Aptitude to learn new software applications as needed.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to handle detailed work accurately and quickly.
  • Comfortable working in production and warehouse environments with automated and manual equipment and machinery.
  • Able to meet deadlines on multiple projects and work in a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Good interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail; must be a self-starter with the ability to work without daily supervision.
  • Strong analytic skills and an understanding of economics and financial concepts.
  • Must be able to travel as needed.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
