About the position

We are looking for a Manufacturing Operations Analyst who can manage inventory, help drive process improvements, document data, trends, and collaborate with management. This position will cycle count and report on inventory, monitor machines, processes, downtime, and other analytics required to ensure optimal efficiency and continuous improvement of the facility. The responsibilities for this position shall include, but are not limited to, the following: Responsible for monitoring machine processes and communicating issues to the floor and management. Accountable for collecting data, analyzing, and compiling meaningful metrics (KPI's) for review. Investigate, analyze (root cause problem solving), and communicate the reasons for material fluctuations and deviations from prior reports. Identify trends and recommend actions to management. Create necessary policies, procedures, and SOP's on lessons learned, and standard practices. Train as required. Help identify, track, and support continuous improvement initiatives company-wide. Create and maintain accurate inventory management procedures, train accordingly. Assist inventory control with physical inventory (stocking locations), responsible for cycle counting, execution, and reconciliations. Work closely with management to perform inventory analysis and create reports (trends, accuracy, usage, etc.). Diagnose the source of inventory issues and implement strategies (shortages, overages, missing inventory, etc.). Assist in the cycle count program, review and resolve/report discrepancies - Ensure counts are performed on schedule and accurately. Key participant in annual physical inventories. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing setting with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix management structure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially in Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience working with an ERP system, SAP, is preferred.
  • Willingness to work an off-shift role as necessary.
  • Ability to lead cross-functionally with indirect influence while delivering measurable results.
  • Ability to collaborate with individuals in a diverse set of roles within the manufacturing plant.

Benefits

  • Full-time position with a starting pay of $55,000 per year.
