As a Manufacturing Operations Engineer with the Operations team at Kelly Services, you will play a pivotal role in providing manufacturing engineering leadership and managing projects for assigned cells within our Mahwah, NJ site. This position is crucial for ensuring that manufacturing processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company's goals. You will be responsible for overseeing process commitments while adhering to time, resource, and budget constraints. Your expertise will be essential in creating individual manufacturing process timelines in partnership with subject matter experts (SMEs) and linking them to the overall project timeline. Additionally, you will support vendor acceptance activities, which include reviewing engineering drawings and participating in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). In this role, you will also facilitate weekly meetings with vendors, track meeting minutes, and ensure that actions for individual processes are documented and followed up on. You will collaborate with Quality Engineers and divisional resources to develop Global Initiated Assessments (GIA) required for applicable assessments. Your responsibilities will extend to facilitating operator training and leading the review and approval of documentation updates scoped through the GIA process. You will be tasked with formulating and executing process and equipment validations, conducting capability studies, and executing First Article Inspections (FAI) in collaboration with process SMEs. On the technical side, you will actively participate in and lead teams to support new product and process design and development activities. You will be instrumental in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes for both existing and new products. Your role will also involve facilitating quality remediation and gap closure through partnerships with cell Quality Engineers, as well as participating in the development, review, and approval processes for equipment validation and qualifications. You will initiate and support Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) initiatives, and you will be responsible for developing and executing equipment validations, including Equipment Qualification (EQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), Performance Qualification (PQ), and the creation and updates of related procedures.
