About the position

The Manufacturing Operations Excellence Manager is responsible for developing and executing the local lean roadmap to enhance operational efficiency and productivity at the site. This role involves implementing the Stanadyne Production System processes and methodologies, engaging with various departments to ensure effective collaboration on improvement projects, and leading continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen and Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the local lean roadmap.
• Engage with the plant manager to design and implement continuous improvement tools and principles.
• Establish and promote the Stanadyne Production System within the site.
• Lead weekly Kaizen reviews and monitor compliance with introduced changes.
• Analyze existing production processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Optimize processes and seek opportunities for overall improvement.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and planning departments on joint projects.
• Participate in internal audits and ensure compliance with standards.
• Create documentation and visualization for the company.
• Implement methods to eliminate waste and participate in corrective measures.
• Develop and train Lean facilitators and conduct training modules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or a related field.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing Principles, including Lean Production System, 6S, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Experience with APQP and plant layout (CAD proficient).
