The Operations Manager plays a crucial role in the management team, focusing on analyzing and improving organizational processes to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency at the manufacturing site in Hawthorne, California. This position requires a hands-on approach to enforce company policies and foster a culture of accountability and urgency among employees.

Responsibilities

• Enforce and follow all company policies while encouraging a culture of ownership and accountability.
• Run analyses of labor and process costs versus margins for all product offerings.
• Work directly with Order Management to ensure timely shipping of all orders.
• Continuously improve workflow processes to maintain service level agreements (SLA) with zero late orders.
• Collaborate with HR to review and enforce the Attendance policy.
• Document and review productivity metrics with department supervisors for follow-up.
• Approve additional staffing to meet budget and production goals.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on outsourced manufacturing work.
• Schedule monthly one-on-one meetings with direct reports to discuss performance and provide guidance.
• Maintain a clean and organized production floor with a focus on safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, business, or equivalent experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• 3+ years of management experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other industry software.
