Manufacturing Operator

About the position

The Manufacturing Operator I position at Invovia in Eugene, OR, is a contract role focused on the final packaging of various product lines for the Biotech industry. The operator will execute production processes by adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instruction Documents, ensuring precision and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and/or monitor production equipment, making necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operations and high-quality results.
• Collaborate with other technicians to perform filling, labeling, and packaging of products.
• Comprehend production paperwork including product reconciliation, label reconciliation, labor sheets, product fill checks, and torque checks.
• Follow manufacturing paperwork meticulously without deviations from instructions.
• Handle chemicals and hazardous materials safely.
• Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.
• Follow ISO 13485 guidelines and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Clean and sanitize work areas, machines, glassware, or equipment as required.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with work groups to ensure task and project completion.
• Perform duties in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Be flexible to work overtime and varying shifts.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in basic packaging techniques, equipment operation, and protocol record retention.
• Strong computational skills.
• Ability to execute instructions precisely without deviation.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous production or laboratory exposure is advantageous but not required.
• Comfortable with chemical handling.
