About the position

The Manufacturing Operator position at J&J Ethicon in San Angelo, TX involves working in a light industrial environment focused on the production of medical devices and supplies. Responsibilities

• Stand and/or walk for long periods.
• Load/Unload suture products.
• Perform adjustments and tooling changes as needed.
• Comply with packaging requirements.
• Transfer packaged products and complete required documentation.
• Comply with safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Read, interpret, and follow work instructions and training materials.
• Assess and input data into departmental/plant information systems.
• Accurate record keeping via computer management systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Passing WorkKeys skills assessment score (to be given).
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Transferrable skills from a regulated environment are favorable.
• Troubleshooting skills preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good work habits, neatness, organizational skills, time management skills, etc.
• Team player.
