About the position
Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer Intern at our Rail Car manufacturing facility in Lincoln, NE. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the manufacturing process and support various engineering tasks.
Responsibilities
- Learn and support the warehouse process including special kit carts and improve standard kit cart process.
- Assist engineers with tasks and projects, for example, tool design/modeling.
- Update operation procedures and work instructions.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement projects associated with the functional testing of passenger rail cars.
Requirements
- Some college experience preferred (Preferably students currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related degree).
- Must have High School diploma or successfully obtained a GED.
