About the position

The Manufacturing Process Engineer at Conagra Brands will work onsite at the Indianapolis manufacturing plant, focusing on improving manufacturing standards, reducing losses, and enhancing product safety and quality. This role involves managing metrics for the manufacturing line, collaborating with R&D, and providing technical leadership on various projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage metrics for the manufacturing line including efficiency, yield, and Daily Management Systems.
• Be the plant liaison to R&D including conducting trials.
• Work with plant and corporate Engineering to develop and install new technologies.
• Create and train new procedures.
• Analyze results of experiments and trials to provide process recommendations.
• Provide technical leadership on projects.

Requirements

• BS in Chemical, Food, Biological, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 1+ year experience with process technology documentation.
• Understanding of Design of Experiment methodologies.
• Experience with Deliverables and Success Criteria-based environment.
