About the position
The Manufacturing Process Engineer will be responsible for coordinating with the engineering and build teams to ensure that manufacturing processes are effectively met. This role focuses on process improvement to enhance the efficiency of product creation, balancing time between desk work for model review and adjustments, and hands-on support on the production floor.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with engineering and build teams to ensure manufacturing processes are met.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in product creation.
- Review models and make necessary adjustments at the desk.
- Provide support on the production floor by answering questions and guiding team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer.
- Proficiency in CAD or similar tools (e.g., Solidworks, AutoCad).
- Experience with process improvement in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with composite materials and bonding processes.
- Highly motivated individual with a desire to make a difference.
