The Process Engineer (PE) is part of a small team responsible for the performance of manufacturing lines, focusing on output, scrap, and downtime reduction. The role requires the PE to spend approximately 65% of their time on the manufacturing floor, evaluating equipment and mentoring production associates on equipment standards and troubleshooting. The PE also supports capacity planning and growth, defines budgeted rates, and ensures compliance with BD quality systems and safety regulations.
