Gpac is seeking a Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer to join a dynamic team in Mount Olive, North Carolina. Responsibilities

  • Drive enhancements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost within manufacturing processes.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes.
  • Manage projects effectively to ensure successful implementation of improvements.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement and track progress.
  • Lead and manage a team to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve process improvement goals.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and develop solutions.
  • Document processes and improvements for future reference.

Requirements

  • 4-year technical degree required.
  • Minimum of 7+ years in high-volume process-based manufacturing, with at least the last 4 years in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects is essential.
  • 5+ years of Lean Manufacturing experience; green belt or black belt certification is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft business software.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma and Design of Experiment techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to teach manufacturing and technical concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Must speak, read, and write in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
