In this position, you will be responsible for leading process improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational efficiency. The role requires excellent communication skills, as you will be teaching manufacturing and technical concepts to team members and fostering a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities

  • Drive enhancements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost within manufacturing processes.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Teach manufacturing and technical concepts to team members.

Requirements

  • 4-year technical degree required.
  • Minimum of 7+ years in high-volume process-based manufacturing, with at least 4 years in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects is essential.
  • 5+ years of Lean Manufacturing experience; green belt or black belt certification is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft business software.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma and Design of Experiment techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Must speak, read, and write in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Nice-to-haves
