The Manufacturing Process Technician at All Service Plastic Molding, Inc. plays a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing injection molding processes under the supervision of the Lead Process Technician. This position is essential for ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall quality of the products manufactured. The technician will assist the Production and Quality Assurance departments in various tasks, including start-ups, operator training, and troubleshooting process problems. This role requires a keen understanding of the decoupled molding technique to establish and maintain process parameters effectively. In addition to process optimization, the technician is responsible for making improvement suggestions for both new and existing tools to enhance process capabilities. Accurate record-keeping is a vital part of this role, as the technician must maintain cycle sheets, process change logs, and mold preventive maintenance (PM) books. The technician will also assist in pulling and setting injection molds and perform basic preventative maintenance procedures on tooling and production machinery, coordinating repairs when necessary. This position may require filling in for the Lead Process Technician as needed, making it a dynamic and integral part of the manufacturing team.
