About the position

As a Manufacturing Project Engineer at Wisenbaker Builder Services, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating various manufacturing projects to ensure they meet established quality, cost, and timeline objectives. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, quality assurance, and procurement, to drive project success. You will be responsible for aligning project goals and objectives with the initial design concept, ensuring that all requirements are implemented effectively. Your responsibilities will include developing technical specifications and CAD drawings for machine and manufacturing processes, as well as defining project planning and capital utilization. You will perform equipment ROI analysis to ensure acceptable OEE standards and justify the implementation of manufacturing processes that maximize efficiency. This includes optimizing equipment layout, workflow, assembly, and workforce utilization. Conducting time studies and cost analysis will be essential to improve product quality and facilitate easy system operation. In this role, you will manage the project schedule, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress while summarizing updates for stakeholders. You will prepare requests for quotations, evaluate proposals, and document processes. Additionally, you will validate the implemented processes through FAT, SAT, and IQ/OQ/PQ requirements, serving as the key contact for problem resolution and technical guidance. Leading projects with the assistance of Cabinet Manufacturing teams, you will act as a strong communication bridge between all departments and upper management, coordinating activities with both internal and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare requests for quotations, evaluate proposals, and document processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cabinet experience.
  • Hands-on experience with fluid handling equipment, including pumps, valves, filters, and piping systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
