About the position

The Manufacturing Project Manager - Operations and Implementation at Siemens is responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams to optimize production methods for complex electrical and mechanical products. This role focuses on project implementation from customer configuration through product delivery, ensuring the adoption of innovative manufacturing capabilities such as digitalization and automation. The project manager will develop business plans, manage project execution, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction while preserving return on investment (ROI).

Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to implement project focus on optimizing production methods.
  • Develop business plans defining benefits, costs, schedule, scope, and risks of projects.
  • Execute projects within defined requirements including budget, time, and functionality.
  • Ensure business success and customer satisfaction through professional stakeholder management.
  • Make timely decisions on open issues and identify risks, escalating as necessary.
  • Preserve and improve ROI established in initial project phases by learning through implementation.
  • Coordinate across Engineering, Operations, and Procurement disciplines to ensure cooperation with regional and global units.
  • Perform technical risk management and actively mitigate risks throughout the project life.
  • Provide updates to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or Mechatronics) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing large complex projects including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • High proficiency in project management and communication tools (Excel, Word, Project & Visio).
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong experience in data analytics.
  • PMP Certification or equivalent with proven project successes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in relationship building and motivating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of safety in industrial production.
  • Experience in the electrical apparatus/power distribution and control industry.
  • Ability to work effectively across all facets of the organization from design to manufacturing.
  • Experience with current and future technologies in manufacturing including digitalization and automation.
