About the position

The Manufacturing Quality Engineer will lead continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing cell, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. This role involves analyzing data to identify root causes of issues, developing qualification protocols, and supporting quality standards to minimize scrap and customer returns.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement efforts within the manufacturing cell
• Analyze data to determine appropriate root cause and corrective actions
• Review and disposition of non-conforming products
• Develop qualification protocols and control plans to meet customer requirements while minimizing scrap and eliminating customer returns
• Verify that all appropriate instructions are in place to meet customer, FDA, and/or other outside agencies' requirements
• Support CFA Level III and Quality Layout Technicians by creating and explaining procedures and quality standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (preferred)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing
• Experience with process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ, Software Validation)
• Strong understanding of FDA and ISO requirements
• Proficiency in statistical tools and Statistical Process Control methodology
• Advanced computer skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and SOPs
• Strong problem-solving skills
