About the position

We are seeking a Manufacturing Quality Manager for our site in Saint Ouen l'Aumône (Val d'Oise, France) to join our motivated and dedicated Quality team. Reporting to the Quality Director, you will be responsible for the control plan of production operations, ensuring quality and continuous improvement of results on-site, five days a week. As part of the ISO9001 certification process scheduled for 2025, you will coordinate all production quality activities at the plant. Your responsibilities will include leading working groups to analyze internal/external non-conformities or production deviations, defining improvement actions, and measuring their effectiveness while adhering to group requirements. You will anticipate risk situations in operational quality (risk assessment), guarantee the monitoring of equipment capabilities, and drive improvement initiatives in collaboration with production, quality, HSE, and R&D departments. Additionally, you will organize training and awareness sessions for production staff regarding quality requirements, ensure compliance with procedures, operational modes, and maintenance and production process requirements, and manage environmental monitoring, pest control, and packaging quality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead working groups to analyze internal/external non-conformities and production deviations.
  • Define improvement actions and measure their effectiveness while adhering to group requirements.
  • Anticipate risk situations in operational quality through risk assessment.
  • Ensure monitoring of equipment capabilities and drive improvement initiatives in collaboration with production, quality, HSE, and R&D departments.

  • Ensure compliance with procedures, operational modes, and maintenance and production process requirements.
  • Manage environmental monitoring, pest control, and packaging quality.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or Master's, ideally in Quality, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or equivalent experience in the sector.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar Quality role in a pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or food production environment.
  • Rigorous and organized with strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with various stakeholders in a changing environment.
  • Knowledge of problem-solving tools (Ishikawa, 5P, QQOQCP), risk analysis, and HACCP.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the personal care and cosmetics industry.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 certification processes.
