The Contract Manufacturing Sales Engineer will be a pivotal figure in the sales process for a leading automation machinery manufacturing firm that specializes in tailored inline process spectrometers, including UV-VIS-NIR, LIBS, and Raman technologies. This role is essential for driving the growth of the company's contract manufacturing services, which are supported by a team of highly skilled professionals in applications, engineering, and manufacturing. The firm is recognized for its expertise in the design, engineering, and high-volume production of complex opto-electronics devices, sensors, and analytical instrumentation, particularly in the life sciences and medical devices sectors. In this position, the Sales Engineer will leverage their extensive knowledge and experience in manufacturing to develop and implement innovative business strategies aimed at establishing a new business division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong business acumen and the ability to work independently, demonstrating a proactive approach to business acquisition. The role requires a deep understanding of industry norms and directives, particularly those related to medical devices, including TQM systems, ISO13485, and FDA registration protocols. The successful candidate will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships within the industry, utilizing their strong business development and presentation skills to effectively communicate the value of the firm's products and services. Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of tailored inline process spectrometers (UV-VIS-NIR, LIBS, and Raman) for various industries.
  • Develop and implement innovative business strategies to establish a new business division.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the industry to enhance business opportunities.
  • Utilize business development and presentation skills to effectively communicate product value to potential clients.
  • Ensure compliance with industry norms and directives related to medical devices, including TQM systems and FDA regulations.

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in electrical or mechanical engineering, with a specialization in production/manufacturing engineering.
  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing.
  • Deep understanding of norms and directives in the medical devices space, including TQM systems, ISO13485, and FDA registration.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to work independently.
  • Proven business development and presentation skills.
  • Well-connected in the industry.

Benefits
