About the position

The Manufacturing Site HR Manager at Parker Hannifin Corporation is responsible for leading and managing the HR function at the Miami site, specifically supporting the Aftermarket team. This strategic role involves aligning HR strategies with business objectives, driving organizational development, talent management, employee relations, and compliance initiatives. The HR Manager will oversee key talent management activities and serve as a trusted advisor to site leadership, ensuring a high-performing and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with site leadership and functional teams to develop HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on HR-related issues, including conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness, including change management and leadership training.
  • Conduct salary assessments in partnership with the corporate Total Rewards team.
  • Develop and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
  • Champion DEI initiatives to foster an inclusive work environment.
  • Lead or participate in company-wide HR projects and initiatives.
  • Implement and facilitate training and development programs tailored to site needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a management role within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in talent management and employee relations.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to analyze HR metrics and use data to drive decisions.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Prior experience in HR leadership in a manufacturing environment preferred.
