About The Position

As a Manufacturing Specialist at Lufkin Gears, part of the Baker Hughes team, you will work with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sourcing to ensure BOM's (templates and projects) are complete and accurate. You will manage item master parameters and help define Make-Buy for items while working with multiple entities and minimal supervision. This role requires a high energy level, adaptability to change, and influential leadership skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing.
• High energy level and self-starter attitude.
• Ability to adapt to change and demonstrate a sense of urgency in dealing with issues and tasks.

• Ability to organize, assess, and prioritize tasks and resources.

Responsibilities

• Working with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sourcing to ensure BOM's (templates and projects) are complete and accurate.
• Collaborating with Engineering and SQE to ensure Product Codes are defined and implemented correctly in the item records.
• Defining Make-Buy in collaboration with Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Engineering.
• Supporting Engineering NPI and DMP efforts.
• Acting as the point of contact for implementation and obsolescence management, cut over plans, ramp up and ramp down.
• Supporting ERP implementations/enhancement initiatives.
• Performing other miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager.
• Defining processes, IT tools, trainings, value stream, etc. to be used by the manufacturing community.
