We are looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor on 1st shift at our Groveport, OH facility. This role involves supervising hourly associates working in the manufacturing department, ensuring they complete their duties and follow all quality assurance (QA) and safety procedures in a timely manner with the least possible waste. As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will supervise and direct associates in performing job duties, ensuring assigned tasks are completed efficiently. You will be responsible for enforcing, developing, and maintaining safe working practices for all production associates. Additionally, you will develop and train production associates in their respective work areas, providing guidance and input about career development feedback and opportunities. Counseling production associates on job performance and implementing or recommending disciplinary actions as necessary will also be part of your responsibilities. You will conduct performance reviews and provide periodic performance feedback, as well as manage the hiring, disciplining, and termination of associates. Your daily tasks will include early morning machine component and associate set-up, reviewing the daily production schedule, and ensuring that daily paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and on time. You will ensure the use of correct products at the correct settings and monitor the quality of the product produced, watching for proportions and correct placement of components in each sandwich. Additionally, you will monitor sanitation to verify the constant removal of waste, garbage, and other materials from the floor, and complete resource planning to ensure adequate staffing for daily order completion. You will also review and verify the accuracy of associate time punches in ADP, review cost of goods and variance reports, and plan/schedule the next day's production run while maintaining HACCP compliance for the department.
