About the position

L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty is seeking a Manufacturing Supply Chain Co-op for a 12-month internship based in Somerset, NJ. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to the supply chain processes within a leading company in the beauty industry. The co-op will work closely with the Supply Team, assisting in the calculation of monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensuring that all documentation is accurately saved for audit purposes. The role involves coordinating projects across various departments, including Flows, Quality, and Finances, providing a comprehensive understanding of how different areas interact within the manufacturing plant. In this position, the co-op will gain hands-on experience in Master Data Management analysis and reporting, as well as support manual receipts in SAP for Contract Manufacturing Procurement. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about the various facets of the Manufacturing Supply Chain and how they contribute to the overall success of the organization. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, while also demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This role is not just about learning; it’s about making a tangible impact on the team and the company’s operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Supply Team in providing tools for monthly KPI calculation.
  • Ensure documentation is correctly saved for audit purposes.
  • Coordinate projects with different areas such as Flows, Quality, and Finances.
  • Learn about different areas of Manufacturing Supply Chain and their interactions with other areas of the plant.
  • Support Master Data Management analysis and reporting.
  • Assist with manual receipts in SAP for Contract Manufacturing Procurement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Proficient in Excel (including Vlookup, Pivot Tables, and Graphs), Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong independent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good understanding of the manufacturing process.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
