About the position
The Manufacturing Team Member will join Centrotherm's team in Waterford, NY, focusing on the fabrication of components for the InnoFlue polypropylene vent system. This role involves various manufacturing processes and requires a commitment to quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the MRP System to view work orders and work instructions.
- Build product per work order using plastic fabrication techniques such as welding, routing, cutting, and bending.
- Carton and label finished goods.
- Execute quality procedures as documented by the quality department.
- Ensure accurate entry of manufacturing transactions into the MRP System.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Assist the Manufacturing Leader in maintaining equipment and sanitation levels following 5S principles.
- Assist in cycle counting inventory with the Manufacturing Team Leader.
- Ensure efficient use of time and equipment while maintaining inventory control and security.
- Assist management in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties, projects, and assignments as needed.
Requirements
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- High school degree required.
- Certification in plastic or metal welding and fabrication preferred.
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Customer focus to achieve company and personal goals.
- Sustained mental and visual attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and self-motivated.
