About the position

The Manufacturing Team Member will join the Centrotherm Manufacturing Team, responsible for fabricating components of the InnoFlue line of polypropylene vent system components. This role involves various plastic fabrication techniques and requires a commitment to workplace safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the MRP System to view work orders and work instructions.
• Build product per work order through plastic fabrication techniques including plastic welding, routing, cutting, and bending/shaping.
• Carton and label finished goods.
• Execute quality procedures as documented by the quality department.
• Ensure that manufacturing transactions are accurately entered into the MRP System.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Assist the Manufacturing Leader in maintaining department equipment and sanitation levels following 5S principles.
• Assist the Manufacturing Team Leader in cycle counting inventory.
• Ensure efficient use of time and equipment, maintaining tight inventory control and security.
• Assist management in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties, projects, and assignments as needed.

Requirements

• Commitment to workplace safety.
• A high school degree is required.
• Certification in plastic or metal welding and fabrication is preferred.
• Basic computer skills required including knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Customer focus to achieve company, department, and personal goals.
• Sustained mental and visual attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and self-motivated.
