About the position
The position involves coordinating tasks with other manufacturing staff to meet customer requirements, particularly in boxbuild and coating processes, while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and customer specifications. The role requires working under close supervision and following standardized procedures to accomplish assigned tasks, with opportunities for training and development in more advanced functions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate tasks with manufacturing staff to fulfill customer requirements.
- Assemble finished units according to customer specifications.
- Organize tasks requiring multiple team members to accomplish goals.
- Utilize manual and automated lifting devices while adhering to safety specifications.
- Provide information and coordinate action plans at cross-functional meetings.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and order parts as needed.
- Perform preventive maintenance on area tooling according to schedules.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area according to 5S standards.
- Perform manual conformal coating of products as required.
- Prepare assemblies for automated coating processes and operate equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Proficient in operating a personal computer and using Windows-based software.
- Advanced PC skills, including knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and read visual aids.
- Ability to follow simple instructions and deal with standardized situations.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in manufacturing or assembly environments.
