Manufacturing Technician - Days - Mon - Fri

About the position

The Process Tech IV at Jubilant HollisterStier LLC is responsible for operating and adjusting equipment in the filling area of aseptically manufactured products. This role requires adherence to strict procedures to maintain sterility and involves working independently for extended periods. The position is critical in ensuring the quality and efficiency of production processes in a controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate all pieces of equipment within the filling and packaging area, including set-up, troubleshooting, and repair of minor mechanical problems.
• Perform equipment set-up and change-over for scheduled production runs.
• Utilize measurement devices such as scales, pH meters, and dissolved oxygen meters.
• Perform basic arithmetic functions including calculation of percentages.
• Inspect product for quality assurance.
• Maintain a clean work area to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Understand and utilize aseptic techniques in all operations.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures while performing all job functions.
• Accurately document production processes and review Batch Records for completeness and accuracy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in performing addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and ratios.
• Experience in chemical compounding and pharmaceutical production is helpful.
• Manufacturing production and equipment operation experience is desired.
• Basic computer skills to navigate Windows-based software required.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Ability to work overtime, including extended or weekend hours.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in pharmaceutical production environments.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and sterile manufacturing processes.
