The Manufacturing Technician - Fused position at SCHOTT AG involves providing technical support in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes. Responsibilities

• Provides technical support in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes.
• Updates and maintains process documentation such as process specifications, material specifications, route sheets, and design sheets.
• Enters purchase requisitions on behalf of the manufacturing team and follows up on their status.
• Inspects in-process work to ensure quality and to verify proper process specifications are being followed.
• Performs complex machine/equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoots and performs technical repairs.
• Maintains inventory of parts, tooling, and supplies.

Requirements

• A.S. degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent technical work experience.
• Minimum three (3) years' experience in a scientific or technical field.
• Capable of providing technical support for the improvement and development of manufacturing products and processes.
• Computer proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office software.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
• Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
