The Greenville, SC site produces innovative resins for process scale chromatography, delivering speed, efficiency, and performance for even the most novel biotherapeutics. These products are used for the purification of biotherapeutics including cell and gene therapies, antibody therapies, and vaccines. The Manufacturing Technician I role supports the manufacturing of POROS chromatography resin. Under supervision, this role supervises all operations of designated chemical processes to ensure safe chemical procedures, quality standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements for working with and handling raw materials, production intermediates, and final products. This role makes decisions that involve direct application of technical knowledge. A typical day in this position includes performing manufacturing tasks following strict guidelines and protocols, operating and maintaining production equipment, conducting quality checks to ensure flawless product output, collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine process improvements, and documenting and reporting any process deviations or issues.
