About the position

The Manufacturing Technician I plays a crucial role in supporting the daily manufacturing operations at a medical cannabis facility. This position involves converting raw materials into finished products while ensuring compliance with quality and efficiency standards. The technician will engage in various manufacturing tasks, including dispensing, packaging, and post-harvest processing, while working both independently and as part of a team under the supervision of more experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

• Participating in general manufacturing duties such as dispensing, packaging, and equipment breakdowns.
• Moving products and conducting inventory audits.
• Labeling and sanitation of products.
• Engaging in post-harvest processing and other related duties.
• Collaborating effectively with coworkers during group work.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Inputting required documentation accurately.
• Executing techniques consistently and maintaining compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to last-minute changes.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow multi-layered instructions accurately.
