About the position

The Manufacturing Technician II position at Maquet Cardiovascular LLC is focused on supporting the manufacturing engineering department and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves equipment setup, maintenance, and process validation to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Observe and comply with all safety rules and regulations, including QSR and ISO Standards.
  • Participate in Material Review Boards (MRB) Decision process.
  • Identify and implement corrective actions for manufacturing-related issues.
  • Perform equipment setup and corrective, preventative, and calibration maintenance as necessary.
  • Install and validate equipment and processes in the production area to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time following established validation procedures.
  • Evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
  • Develop or revise documents and procedures as needed.
  • Certify manufacturing associates in the production processes.
  • Evaluate and order necessary equipment, tools, and fixtures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of technician experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Associate's degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field preferred.
  • Experience working in medical device manufacturing or other FDA regulated industry is ideal.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel.
