About the position

The Manufacturing Technician II position at Maquet Cardiovascular LLC is focused on supporting the manufacturing engineering department and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in a medical device manufacturing environment. The role involves equipment setup, maintenance, and validation processes to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Observe and comply with all safety rules and regulations, including QSR and ISO Standards.
• Participate in Material Review Boards (MRB) Decision process.
• Identify and implement corrective actions for manufacturing-related issues.
• Perform equipment setup and corrective, preventative, and calibration maintenance as necessary.
• Install and validate equipment and processes in the production area to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time following established validation procedures.
• Evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
• Develop or revise documents and procedures as needed.
• Certify manufacturing associates in the production processes.
• Evaluate and order necessary equipment, tools, and fixtures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field preferred.
• 1-3 years of technician experience in a manufacturing environment required; experience in medical device manufacturing or FDA regulated industry preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Well organized with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel or equivalent software applications.
