About the position
The Manufacturing Technician position at BC Forward involves operating complex equipment and analytical tools in a clean room environment, specifically supporting wafer fabrication processes. The role requires adherence to standard procedures and specifications while performing various routine operations. Technicians will work 12-hour shifts and must be prepared for tasks that involve repetitive motion and standing for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Operate complex equipment and analytical tools in a clean room environment.
- Perform minor preventative maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
- Support wafer fabrication operations in a specific functional area.
- Work efficiently from standard procedures and specifications.
- Engage in non-standard processing and problem-solving as needed.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of work experience in a Semiconductor cleanroom environment.
- 3 years of work experience in production with a focus on utilizing computers/software.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (computer software, semiconductor, etc.) or strong military experience with an Associate's degree acceptable in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
