About the position
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality customer products. This position involves assembling, disassembling, and preparing components for manufacturing, while collaborating closely with engineers to mold propeller blades and assist with product installations and assemblies. Additionally, you will contribute to various operational aspects, including quality control, inventory management, and facility maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble manufacturing tooling
- Prepare and assemble propeller blade materials and purchased components
- Mold propeller blades in molding fixtures
- Assist with product installations and propeller assemblies
- Inspect incoming COTS and non-COTS materials
- Maintain the MRB area for non-conforming products
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Receive and inspect incoming deliveries
- Maintain physical inventory and assist with inventory counts
- Support shipping and receiving operations
- Maintain facility upkeep and improvements
- Perform various business-related errands
Requirements
- 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent
- Technical aptitude for assembling and preparing components
- Strong collaboration skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
