About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork, particularly in the development, scale-up, manufacturing, production, testing, and quality control of a new line of electro-chemical sensors.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Document production data accurately, including quantities produced and any discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Good understanding of CNC machinery or equipment.
  • Understanding and ability to perform routine testing and experimental design.
  • Familiarity with research lab or currently working in a lab.
  • Setup, operate, and work independently on tasks.
  • Possess technical skills for soldering, troubleshooting, maintenance and testing of sensors.

Requirements

  • Associate or Technical Certificate (Preferred).
  • High school diploma or equivalent with strong technical experience accepted.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team player.
  • Good oral and written skills for communication and documentation of technical information.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload.
  • Research independently, keep current with technological developments, and possess the ability to learn new skills and solve problems.
  • Must be detail-oriented and capable of adjusting standard operating procedures as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous clean room experience a plus.
