About the position

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team for a short-term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling complex electro-mechanical products and ensuring high-quality standards through precise work and attention to detail. You'll collaborate with other technicians and support various tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of our manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble complex electro-mechanical products according to detailed work instructions.
  • Solder electrical components to ensure proper connections and functionality.
  • Fasten parts and components using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Perform basic testing to ensure product functionality and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow safety protocols.
  • Inspect assembly work for quality assurance, ensuring all components meet company standards.
  • Support other areas such as logistics, materials management, and prototype assembly when required.
  • Report safety issues or hazards to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in assembling electro-mechanical or mechanical products.
  • Must have professional experience with soldering electrical components.
  • Ability to use tools like screwdrivers, drills, etc., effectively and safely.
  • Knowledge of ESD practices and handling of electrical parts.
  • Precision and care in assembling parts, ensuring a high standard of work.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with peers and supervisors.
  • Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs and comfortable using ladders frequently.
  • Understanding of standard Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in automotive or autonomous vehicle assembly.
