About the position

The Manufacturing Technician role at Bristol-Myers Squibb is focused on completing production assignments with high quality and timely output in a cellular therapeutic manufacturing environment. This position is essential for ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and standard operating procedures while working collaboratively within a team to support the production process.

Responsibilities

  • Works on routine manufacturing assignments per written procedures, recognizing deviations from accepted practices.
  • Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Weighs and checks raw materials and assembles, cleans, and sanitizes process equipment.
  • Completes work instructions and maintains a clean room environment to comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Trains for proficiency in the operation of primary production equipment and process systems.
  • Assists with the revision and creation of process documents, such as SOPs and electronic work instructions.
  • Maintains material and components inventory levels and supports a safe work environment.
  • Works in teams and interacts with other manufacturing teams to exchange information regarding the batch(s) in process.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 0-1 years of cGMP manufacturing experience or equivalent work experience or education.
  • Proven experience working on teams with a focus on collaboration and results.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in common computer tools such as word processing, spreadsheet, and web-based applications.
  • Attention to detail and personal accountability are critical for success.
  • Good interpersonal skills, attentive and approachable demeanor.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Syncade MES and SAP interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Oracle, ETQ, and BMRAM systems.
