The Manufacturing Test Development Engineer will play a crucial role within the Robotics Manufacturing Technical Operations team, reporting to the Manager of NPI Test Development. This position focuses on manufacturing test development and support for robotic manipulation applications, utilizing robotic arms like Fanuc and ABB, as well as custom end-of-arm tools and power distribution systems. The engineer will collaborate closely with engineering, production, test engineers, and external vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality products at the lowest cost. In this role, the engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing test strategies, documenting test procedures and specifications, guiding the design of automated test solutions, and writing programs to control test equipment. The engineer will also evaluate product engineering changes and support end-of-line test stations at local contract manufacturers. A commitment to promoting a safe working environment is essential, as is the ability to travel up to 30% for the role.
