We are seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to support PCBA test/debug at our facility in Carson City and Redmond, WA. The role involves programming and executing functional testing of PCBAs, diagnosing nonconformance's during testing, and documenting defects for communication back to the PCBA manufacturing team and contract manufacturer (CM). You will coordinate PCBA rework to repair defects, deploy functional testing, and debug at the CM. The role also includes training staff at CM on programming, testing, and electrical debug of PCBAs. Expect to spend up to 50% of your time traveling to support electrical debug of PCBAs at the CM. This position is critical in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products, and it requires a strong background in electrical engineering and hands-on experience with PCBAs. As a Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the PCBA test/debug process at the contract manufacturer. This includes programming and executing functional tests, diagnosing any nonconformance's that arise during testing, and documenting these defects to facilitate communication with the manufacturing team. You will also be tasked with coordinating rework efforts to address any identified defects and deploying functional testing and debugging processes at the CM. Your role will require you to travel frequently, particularly in the initial stages, to ensure that the electrical debug processes are effectively implemented and supported at the CM. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in training CM staff on programming, testing, and debugging PCBAs. This aspect of the job is essential for building the capabilities of our partners and ensuring that they can effectively support our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping to establish best practices and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
