About the position

The Manufacturing Test Engineer will play a crucial role in developing and adjusting manufacturing systems tests for electro-mechanical devices. This position involves working with existing systems set up in C# .NET and potentially creating new systems to enhance testing capabilities. The engineer will work independently to implement tests and automate processes, ensuring high-quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and adjust manufacturing systems test for electro-mechanical devices
• Write and implement tests in C#/C++ or Python
• Work independently with minimal oversight to develop the test system
• Utilize test equipment and tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
• Automate manufacturing calibrations and trims of devices under test
• Deploy the developed test system at third-party manufacturing partners

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience developing electronic test systems for a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in C#/C++, Python, and possibly LabVIEW
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and test methodologies
• Experience with test equipment and tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
• Experience with automated test systems and software
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Nice-to-haves

• Proven experience in test engineering, particularly in the specification and definition of test fixtures
• Proficiency in automating manufacturing calibrations and trims of devices under test
