Unilock facilities are safe, modern, and fully automated production facilities. We are currently hiring for a Production Worker (Utility). This position is eligible for a SIGN-ON BONUS OF $1,500. As a Production Worker (Utility), you will be responsible for performing various duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor, Senior Supervisor, or Plant Manager. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to perform your duties in a safe manner. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the general cleanliness and tidiness of the work area, participating in plant clean-up at the end of shifts, and performing all other duties as assigned by supervisory staff. This role requires the ability to stand, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs, as well as the ability to perform repetitive motions with your hands and arms above and below shoulder level. You will also need to be able to read and write in English and may be required to relieve or substitute for other plant positions during breaks, lunches, and vacations.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor, Senior Supervisor, or Plant Manager.
• Maintain general cleanliness and tidiness of the work area(s).
• Participate in the plant clean-up at the end of shifts.
• Relieve or substitute for the positions of General Laborer, Strapper, and Quality Control for breaks, lunches, and vacations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Requirements

• Ability to pass testing for and possess the skills and knowledge of General Laborer, Quality Control, Strapper, and Forklift Operator positions.
• Ability to stand, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform work with hands and/or arms in the same repetitive motion above and below shoulder level.
• Ability to read and write the English language.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 - 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Safety awareness and experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Attention to detail and quality control skills.
