The Marcomms and Demand Generation Manager, Americas is a working manager/coach-player position in the marketing department with ownership of the Demand Generation function and direct managerial responsibility for other members of the Demand Generation team. Primary responsibility is leading the Americas effort for Marketing Communications in general, creating the Demand Generation plans and managing the delivery of programs, using the resources of the global team and local teams, OEM partners and external vendors to deliver target leads and opportunities from all marketing activities. This is a critical role which requires a capacity for assessing market opportunities, extracting the key messages and creating strong proposition for targets as well as proven knowledge of techniques in creating compelling communications that bring in relevant new contacts (that are nurtured though to becoming new customers) as well as maximizing repeat business/loyalty and cross-selling from existing customers. It will require a strong capacity for briefing, creating and delivering strong and measurable communication programs, managing database metrics and automation systems) leading systems ideally Pardot). It also means working hand-in-glove with the web team to ensure maximum conversion of inbound comms programmes and being able to understand, manage and enthuse sales teams to work in synch to deliver the most effective follow-up and results.
