About the position

The position involves working in a food processing environment, primarily responsible for managing marination processes, maintaining cleanliness in the mix room, and collaborating with line and quality assurance personnel. The role requires physical strength and safety consciousness, as well as the ability to perform various tasks related to marination and processing.

Responsibilities

• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Clean the mix room and maintain a hygienic work environment.
• Change marination in a timely manner as per specifications.
• Clean the marinator as needed to ensure proper functioning.
• Collaborate with line and QA personnel to ensure quality standards are met.
• Drive a jack for moving materials as needed.
• Lift and weigh marinate, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Mix marinate powder and liquid according to specifications.
• Shovel ice and clean screens as part of the processing duties.
• Set up the marinator machine for production runs.
• Perform additional line functions when the marinated product line is not running.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Experience in a food processing environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of marination processes and ingredients.
• Ability to work in temperatures of 55 degrees or less.
• Strong attention to safety and cleanliness in the workplace.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in food processing or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes in food production.
