About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Marine Logistics and Dredging Coordinator to oversee and help manage our dredging and coastal restoration operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent logistical coordination skills, and a solid understanding of regulatory compliance, particularly Coast Guard regulations. This position will provide administrative and logistics support for our operations teams, ensuring that all aspects of dredging and restoration projects are executed efficiently and effectively. As a Marine Logistics Coordinator, you will manage logistics for equipment, personnel, and materials required for dredging and restoration projects, ensuring efficient deployment and utilization. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating vessel movements and scheduling for dredging operations, optimizing resources while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding logistics inquiries, updates, and issue resolution, ensuring that all client needs are met promptly and professionally. Your role will also involve overseeing inventory control and supply chain logistics to optimize efficiency and minimize costs. You will ensure compliance with maritime regulations, safety standards, and company policies throughout all logistical operations. Identifying potential risks and challenges associated with dredging and restoration projects will be crucial, as you will need to develop and implement mitigation strategies as needed. Furthermore, you will maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily progress reports, equipment logs, and safety documentation, and may assist in the preparation of comprehensive project reports for stakeholders. Other administrative duties may be required as assigned by operations management.
