About the position

The Marine Quality Control Inspector/Surveyor at GB Marine Group is responsible for ensuring the quality and standards of service work on luxury yachts. This role involves inspecting completed service work, new boat commissioning, and evaluating incoming brokerage boats. The inspector will meticulously check all aspects of the boats to meet the high standards of Grand Banks Yachts, ensuring customer satisfaction and excellence in service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Checking all departing boats post service
• Checking all new boats pre-delivery
• Evaluating/Surveying incoming brokerage boats & trades
• Creating detailed FTQ reports

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of 30' to 85' boat experience
• Trained/licensed surveyor a plus
• Ability to operate boats 30' to 85' a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must have valid driver's license
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner with customers and staff
• Outstanding customer service and a passion for the marine industry
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments
• Ability to maneuver and fit in confined spaces as needed
• Ability to work in an upright standing position for long periods of time
