About the position
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales professional to join our team at Old Salt Marine, Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth through account management, business development, and exceptional customer service. This role requires a bilingual individual who is willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate customer schedules and dealership operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve company goals
- Identify new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication
- Utilize market research to identify trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales materials
- Provide technical sales support to customers as needed
- Meet or exceed sales targets on a consistent basis
Requirements
- 1-2 years' experience in sales, preferably in the marine industry
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development
- Strong background in technical sales or outside sales preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships
- Familiarity with technology sales is a plus
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage leads, contacts, and sales opportunities efficiently
