About the position

MarketSource Inc., an Allegis Group Company, is seeking a Market Supervisor to oversee and enhance client program effectiveness and customer satisfaction within the assigned market. This role is pivotal in managing the execution of in-store operations, ensuring that retail sales representatives meet and exceed client expectations. The Market Supervisor will be responsible for staffing, scheduling, and compliance with call reports, while also engaging actively with customers to drive sales and manage inventory effectively. The position requires a strong focus on building and maintaining relationships with clients and store teams to ensure seamless communication and adherence to directives. The Market Supervisor will also be tasked with performance management, providing coaching and development opportunities for retail sales representatives. This includes conducting one-on-one coaching sessions, managing employee satisfaction, and utilizing key performance indicators to reduce attrition. The role involves collaborating closely with the District Manager to achieve sales and customer service objectives, participating in program leadership meetings, and providing regular reports on market performance. Additionally, the Market Supervisor will be responsible for identifying trends and opportunities for continuous improvement in sales and customer experience, as well as managing the distribution and retention of team resources. To succeed in this role, candidates must possess excellent communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to train and develop subordinates. A proactive and self-motivated attitude is essential, along with the ability to influence and drive sales performance. The Market Supervisor will be expected to work in-store five days a week, managing 3-5 stores, and will require a valid US driver's license and the ability to travel extensively within the assigned market.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of in-store execution within assigned market, including staffing, scheduling, and compliance with call reports.
  • Establish and maintain critical relationships with clients and store teams.
  • Ensure strong communication continuity and adoption of directives among team members.
  • Deliver required sales productivity and guest experience through performance management and coaching.
  • Manage employee satisfaction and attrition through key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the District Manager to achieve client and program objectives.
  • Communicate and execute the launch of projects and initiatives.
  • Participate in program leadership meetings and provide regular reports to the District Manager.
  • Ensure all employees are fully trained and participate in required sales training.
  • Provide feedback on kiosk performance and execute plans for improvement.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for continuous sales and experience improvement.
  • Make recommendations to the District Manager regarding hiring, training, and performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required; experience in lieu of degree acceptable.
  • 2-4 years of training, sales, account management, or related experience required.
  • 2+ years of retail management experience required.
  • Specialty retail management experience required.
  • Proficient in all MS Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to train and develop subordinates.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to incentivize sales reps.
  • Collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are essential.
  • Action and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
